PA6

Polyamide is one of the toughest and most tenacious plastics. It has excellent lubricating and chemical properties and it is ageing resistant. It is a considerable hygroscopic absorber and this makes it unsuitable for the realization of maximum precision elements. It’s normally used for the production of rollers, gears, sliding guides and bearings. It accepts bonding with cyanoacrylate. It can be admixed with molybdenum disulfide (PA6MOS2) which improves the coefficient of friction of about 5%. Natural colour or black pigment.
