Superlative characteristics as a plastic material. Atoxic, chemical inertia, dielectric flow, temperature intervals, processing possibilities and non-adhesion. In comparison with other plastic materials PTFE is considered disadvantageous not only cost wise but also for its extremely high specific weight. PTFE is easily processible with tool machines, cutting machines and punch cutters. To overcome the non adherence characteristics it is possible to treat the surfaces to gain the cement propriety. The range of PTFE includes new products other than than the traditional semi processed ones like sheets, hoses/tubes, sleeves and round bars. The novelty products are many finished and semi finished products like small pipes, ribbons, non sintered short ropes, puddenings, thin veneer cutting products, spreading and adherring technical textiles.
